You might have noticed, we’re growing around here. New growth means new opportunities. Miami First has needs in several areas where volunteer help is really needed. Mornings, Afternoons, or Evenings, we can use your help!  From Phones to Copies, to dusting & polishing, the list is endless. Once a week, once a month, or once a day, we would love to have your help! 

We have an urgent need for help with maintaining our four facilities. If you can volunteer 3 hours per week, please contact Ms. Mona, or sign up below. 

Current Opportunities: 

Building Maintenance Crew:  We need ongoing weekly help (minimum of three hour shift per week) maintaining the four buildings on our campus.  Duties include helping Maintenance Man David Barnes with cleaning the windows and glass in all four facilities, dusting, polishing the pews and woodwork, changing light bulbs, changing filters, replacing ceiling tiles, and other light maintenance and cleaning. 

If you can volunteer 3 hours at least one day per week (9-12 a.m.; 1-4 p.m.; or 6-9 p.m.) please fill out the Volunteer Form below and indicate the day(s) and time(s) you are available.  These jobs are for men and women of all skill levels and physical abilities. 

Spring Cleaning Crew:  In just a short time it will be time for Spring Cleaning Days.  We will be airing out, dusting off, polishing, shining, and making God's House sparkle!  Your help is needed.  We will have work crews mornings, afternoons, evenings and Saturdays. 

Church Bulletin:  Our office staff needs help on Fridays with the Church Bulletins.  Copying, folding, stuffing, there is always something to be done. 

Event Staff:  We have occasional needs for volunteers to man the phones during and just prior to special events.  We need volunteers with good phone skills who can answer the phones and receive visitors looking for tickets, and we need volunteers who can call for workers and donations prior to events.
