"ATTACK PRAYER"

Pastor Frizzelle shared the following scriptures with the Intercessory Prayer team last Sunday morning.  Please use these scriptures to pray God's Word over our friends and loved ones who have urgent physical needs.  Join Pastor in asking God to "raise a standard".

Called to Pray:

2 Chronicles 7:14-15 (New International Version)

14 if my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land. 15 Now my eyes will be open and my ears attentive to the prayers offered in this place.

 Fear:

2 Timothy 1:7 (New King James Version)

7 For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.

 Healing:

1 Peter 2:24 (New King James Version)

24 who Himself bore our sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live for righteousness—by whose stripes you were healed.

God's power at work:

Isaiah 59:19 (New King James Version)

19 So shall they fear       The name of the LORD from the west,       And His glory from the rising of the sun;       When the enemy comes in like a flood,       The Spirit of the LORD will lift up a standard against him

2 Corinthians 10:4 (New King James Version)

4 For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds,

 Authority:

Matthew 18:18-19 (New King James Version)

18 “Assuredly, I say to you, whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.
19 “Again I say[a] to you that if two of you agree on earth concerning anything that they ask, it will be done for them by My Father in heaven.

God's Promise to us:

Jeremiah 29:11-13 (New International Version)

11 For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. 12 Then you will call upon me and come and pray to me, and I will listen to you. 13 You will seek me and find me when you seek me with all your heart.

 Isaiah 40:28-31 (New International Version)

  28 Do you not know?
       Have you not heard?
The LORD is the everlasting God,
the Creator of the ends of the earth.
He will not grow tired or weary,
and his understanding no one can fathom.

29 He gives strength to the weary
and increases the power of the weak.

30 Even youths grow tired and weary,
       and young men stumble and fall;

31 but those who hope in the LORD
       will renew their strength.
       They will soar on wings like eagles;
they will run and not grow weary,
they will walk and not be faint.

Isaiah 54:17 (New King James Version)

17 No weapon formed against you shall prosper,
And every tongue which rises against you in judgment
      You shall condemn.
This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD,
And their righteousness is from Me,”
      Says the LORD.
